Disney and Texas

Well, here we are, in our new home in Texas. We moved here this summer, since Dad received a new job. Its been a rough transition, but we know Heavenly Father has put us here for a reason. I am so grateful for you two and your easy personalities. Although you miss your friends in Idaho, school was easy. Jace, you couldn't wait to get there..because you are so social...I could see it on your face when we went to meet the teacher. You were dying to make best friends with your table neighbor...so anxious to be social and play. It was adorable. Juliet you were a little reserved and nervous, but when the girls asked you if you were scared to meet your new teacher, you said, "Why? She is just a person." Haha. You both have done well in your new class. You are in Mrs. Kobler's 1st grade and she seems like a great teacher. You have experienced eating lunch at school now and already complain about the grossness.... haha. Its good for you. Yesterday you guys all got on a kick of writing Christmas wish lists. You can thank your sister Sienna for that. Juliet, you wrote the cutest list for your wishes. I can't even....

The list is so sweet. One of them is another wish. One is a kiss, one is a hug. You were reading the list and I kissed you, not knowing that was on the list. You were just so cute reading....you stopped and marked off the kiss from your list. Oh my heart.....so sweet. 

#6 is a phone, although you were reading it and said a fan, several times, then later realized it was a phone. :) haha. You are so cute and sweet. You are doing well in 1st grade. 

Jace, you are just a bundle of energy that keeps going. Although the last few days you've been a litlle angrier, but it is because you are tired. You just finally hit a wall I think. 

You guys are still so much fun and I love that I still see you concerne for the other, like "Where is Juliet?" I hope you are BFFs forever. I love you. 

We stopped at Disney on the way to Texas. You two loved it. It was your first time, and a trip to Universal Studios and see Harry Potter Wizarding world. You loved them both. It was fun to see the magic on your face! 

Kindergarten Graduates

Well, I have truly be slacking apparently. You guys aced Kindergarten. It was so fun to see you grow and make friends and learn to read. You both did so well and learned so fast. You are both proficient readers and it is so fun to see you growing. You loved your class and your friends. You had a play date with your friend Ryker often, in our neighborhood. You loved your teacher Mrs. Buxton. I can hardley believe it is all over. 1/2 day Kinder was good for you, but you would both have loved full day too. Next year you will love going all day. Scarlet will miss you and wonder when you are all coming home.

Juliet, you have grown so much. You are a great reader. You really loved your friend Annie this year. Our little neighbor down the street. You wrote her a cute little note about her being your best friend. You are a little sad to be moving..(since we are now moving to Texas). But you don't quite understand really. You are quite funny sometimes. Angie visited for Kason's baptism and brought Noodles, her dog. You were in love with him. You and Scarlet were always laying by him, reading him books, drawing pictures of him. It was the cutest thing ever. I love it so much.

Jace, You are a great reader too. You had some friends in class you loved. Some that we just couldn't make time to hang out with. I'm sorry about that. But It was fun to watch you be social and make friends and be comfortable. You are super smart, and oddly smart at math. :) For not even really learning it yet, you have mad skills. You have had a couple of moments you realized that you didn't want to move, but are generally ok. I know you both will make good friends in Texas.

I don't know if you will get to be in the same class next year, or not. Honestly, it would be easier for me, but we will see.

I think you are both so much fun and just great little kids. I am truly sad the time is going by so fast. I love you both so very much. We are on our way to disney for your first time. You are going to love it! I can't wait.

Kindergarten

You two are officially in school now. Its been a week and half. You guys love it and if anything, the 1/2 day of school isn't long enough. I can't believe you are big enough to be in school. You are both super smart and will be reading before we know it. You were both so excited to go to school, it was easy. Scarlet missed you that is for sure and loves it when you get home...and you two even still ask when the other kids get home. :) It will be fun to see how you grow this year. Often, Juliet still asks to sleep in the boys room. I think it is cute. It makes me think those time when she did and you guys were all in one room. The twins were little, but I guess it stuck with her. :) Keep being smart and adorable and keep growing, but not too fast! I love to see you to grow into what Heavenly Father has planned.

Family Vacation

Wow, so big and adorable I don’t know where to even start. You are starting kindergarten next year. You are so excited....we went to kinder registration and you guys were so exciting, you thought you were going to school. You are both so smart and so excited. We took a trip to Lagoon and it was your first experience at a park with rides. You guys were animals! You rode everything and loved it! You would have rode the biggest baddest roller coasters if you were tall enough. You wrote stuff I wouldn’t ride, like the big ship.:) haha. You guys were hilarious. Dad got a big kick out of you two. I just can’t believe how big you are getting. It seems unfair. But what beautiful little people you are.

Jace, you split your upper lip wide open a few days ago...we asked Juliet if her lip hurt....but nope..it didn't. :) 

You two are just such a joy. I can't wait to see where school takes you...you are both amazing and will have so much fun. Just stop growing just a little... :) Please. 

Well it's been awhile

Sorry :( Time is ticking by. You two are almost 5. You have gone from toddlers to almost kids in school and sometimes I have to double take. Both of you have thinned out and are so big. Super smart! You can both write your names and are anxious to start school in September...how can that be? Jace you are still the same, tv, ipad, wii, and trucks, and balls. Juliet, you are so much like Sienna, Sassy, bossy, super helpful, super sweet. Sometimes you will get a bug and clean the whole house for me. :) Sienna has spoiled you a bit, and for a while you got used to sleeping with her or someone always...and that was a bad habit...you and Jace giggle around and play a lot, esp when the kids are gone.

You two are so cute. I just don't know how to put it all down, esp since I've missed a lot. You both always volunteer to pray and want to say all of them! You both love Scarlet and she adores you too.

You are just getting to the point where, well, you are big. :(

I love you both so much and hope to write more regularly.

You are such great kids. I am so thankful for you every day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to me! I was thinking today in church how thankful I am to have twins. You know the story by now of how much I wanted them and what a blessing it was. I can't believe it already happened and you are 4. Several times a week I think that...where is time going to. You two are hilarious to be around and watch. Juliet you are such a little Sienna and so sassy and bossy. You like to get things done and help me when needed and I am super thankful for that. Jace is low key and pretty laid back, so it helps to have someone willing to do things. He loves the wii and any thing with balls and bats. He can be so cuddly when he wants to be but not when I usually want him to be. :) He has had a smidge of  a little prob lying lately, but finally admitted the truth the other day, so maybe we are turning a corner. Juliet you are so pretty and well, girly. You are a lot like Jayda in that way. You don't care much about sports and would just rather watch. But you will entertain us sometimes with a game on the wii or outside. You are both so smart. So big. You both had your shots last week, and did so good. Juliet was super nervous and Jace volunteered to be first. What a good boy. You now have your shots for kindergarten and even though you don't go this year...you will be going next year in 2018. How is that possible? I seriously am at a loss for words. You two are so fun to be at home with and I am glad we have another year. I love you both so much. You were an answer to some very long prayers over the years. :) much love!!!!

4 and more!

Well time goes by fast and keeps us all busy. I haven't written for a bit, but what a Christmas and New Year's and 4th birthday you had. You really enjoyed family here for Christmas. Uncle Raul came a few days before everyone else and you two were super confused I think, calling him grandpa...but he loved it and Jace, especially warmed up to him. :) I was so glad. You all loved Michael too and of course Auntie Angie is always a big party when she comes. We had a good holiday. Then before we knew it, your birthday was here. You guys were so excited and Jace even counting down til the next one before bedtime. :) We spent evening at Chuck E Cheese, for your first time and you guys really had fun. We opened a few presents there and came home for cake and icecream. Jace wanted a Mario Kart cake and Juliet had a Shopkins. You are both so cute and big now. I look at you often and can't believe how big you look. You don't look like toddlers anymore. I am wondering where the time went. Juliet, you are so sassy and so often remind me of Sienna at that age. But a little more calm. You are so smart and a little bossy. The other day you were getting out of the car and told Jace "Ladies first!" You try to console him sometimes like a much older sister (older than 2 minutes)...this morning he was whining he didn't want to say the opening prayer in Primary, so you rubbed on his arm and shoulder and like a parent consoled him and said it would be ok. He was super annoyed about that by the way. Its funny. You also take good care of Scarlet these day and tend her. You are so adorable. I love the little lisp you speak with and try to etch in on my heart when I hear you talk. It is so adorable. Jace, you are just a ball of fury and sports. You want to play the wii all the live long day. You, in truth, are on electronics way too much. We need to work on that. But you love sports and you have been super funny lately. Every time dad and I leave or just me to go to the store or something, you get in a frenzy until I give you a hug and kiss and then you say "BYE MOM" a trillion times until I walk out the door. I am not sure why that started, but it is as if you almost hate us to leave and wonder if we will come back. Because you have done if for several weeks now, Juliet, Kason, and even Scarlet do the same thing now. It is a circus to leave the house. But I will take your hugs and kisses any day. Because you are boy and girl twins, you definitely have your difference, and do your own thing, but you also love to play together and if we are doing something or you are getting something, you make sure to know where the other is or get one for each other. We were somwhere the other day and Juliet was a little behind with some of the other kids...and Jace was looking for you and asked "Where is Juliet?" He didn't want to leave you behind. Those moments remind me you are twins and I adore them. I adore you both and hope I can write more of your quirks in here more often. I am just sad the time is going by so fast and you are getting big so quickly. I love you dearly.
