Why has it been so long? Maybe because we have a new baby! You both are in love with her, especially Juliet. From the beginning, you have loved her dearly. You have had an obessession with her feet...you used to always just go nuts about her tiny feet. When I was in the hospital, you both facetimed me and would say, "Baby Car-let, Hi Baby Car-let, Hi baby Car-let!" So cute. You both love to hold her, and are such big helpers, getting her binky, etc. You hang on her a bit too much sometimes, but I know you love her so much. At least you aren't hurting her or angry, you are both full of so much love.
You both are still good little babies. You go to bed pretty decently...some days are an exception. But you are both a little trouble during the day..climbing, getting into whatever you want, driving me nuts. :) Jace you are obsessed with just dance, and it isn't the actual wii, it is you tube...other people playing and posting. You love Despicable Me, One Direction (what makes you beautiful), Animals, 5 Little Monkeys, I'm Gonna Catch You, The Final Countdown, and let me tell you, you have some skills!!!! you are pretty good.
Juliet, you are a little Sienna I think. You are such a momma bear and bossy. You often tell Jace what to do and get on to him. Saying exactly what I would say. You say to the girls, "That's Enough!" after I do. You play with Jace and say, "I'm gonna get upset!" haha. It is funny. Although you guys keep me on my toes, you are so cute and I can't believe almost 3! Where does time go? It spirals by.
I am so grateful for my two little twins, I can't believe it sometimes still. You are both such angels, and I love nothing more than when you are getting a long and playing and just show me how much you really are good friends and buddies. There are special moments, I wish I could just bottle up and re watch and re watch and re watch.
I Love you both so much! Keep up the cuteness. :)

Big Beds
Last Friday, Dad put up your big beds! I can't believe we are at this point. But the climbing out of cribs was out of control! This is much easier. :) Of course we are done with naps...there is no way you will take them...you wouldn't anyways before in the cribs. But for some brilliant reason, you don't get out of bed at night. When it is time to go to bed, you both stay in there and are so good. I guess I will take that! :) You both love your beds and although dad and I were at the temple the first night you went to bed, so this was the pic, but we weren't here. Still, you both have done so well. How can you be so big?
You are both doing so good on the potty! Jace has it all down except still needs a diaper at night...Juliet has everything down but has a hard time pooping :( But so good for starting 3 weeks ago! I am so proud of both of you! In 5 weeks we will have a new baby and you two will seem like huge monsters compared to a new born. So I am trying to suck up every second of you still being my babies. Time goes so utterly fast. It has been such a blessing having both of you.
I love you both so much!

Potty Training
Well, we have been potty training for a week now. Last week we started on Monday, and after two days I didn't think I would make it. Neither of you seemed to be catching on and me being so pregnant didn't make it easy. On Monday, we borrowed a little potty from a friend, and you both the loved to sit on it and just kept taking turns, but didn't connect the dots. Tuesday, Juliet really didn't want to have anything to do with it....I think she was just holding all her pee in.... SO MANY TRIPS to the bathroom! The girls were a lot of help at first, they thought it was fun, but that quickly wore off by Wednesday. I honestly didn't think I was going to be able to do it. Wednesday proved to be a difficult day and although I just kept thinking to myself...." I should just keep up and have patience," it wasn't easy. Thursday proved more successful. One day Juliet seemed to be doing better then the next day Jace. I wasn't sure if either of you would figure it out. But I kept on and just kept thinking I can do this....keep trying. Thursday Jace seemed to finally get the idea. As long as we reminded him he would go pee on the potty...just not initiate it himself. Juliet was starting to figure it out, but not quite there yet. By Friday, Juliet was a pro! I don't think she has had an accident yet. Jace just started today to catch himself before peeing a little in his pants. We are definitely making progress. Sunday, Juliet wore panties to church and did so good! She told her teacher she needed to pee and they came and got me...she did sooo well! So proud of her. Jace wears a pull up when we leave and although isn't quite as an intiatior as Juliet when it comes to thinking ahead, he is learning.
Now a week later, I am so glad I stuck with it. It has never been this hard with any of the other kids. That could be due to there are two of you, or Jace is much younger than Ryder and Kason, or I am so pregnant....or so many things. But enduring the week as made it well worth it.
I sat in church Sunday thinking about the week and found so many correlations to what I have learned this week. I thought about how enduring and having patience even when I wanted to give up really paid off in the end. It was almost a clear hill I climbed and after the hardest part there were rewards. Rewards to help keep me motivated to keep going. I imagine it is a little like that with us and Heavenly Father. We are trying so hard to improve and overcome our weaknesses and if we just endure the blessings come. It isn't always easy but the rewards are clear. Then I thought about how as a parent I was so frustrated and just kept allowing them to try and had to not give up. Heavenly Father must feel like that every day for us. We are always failing and trying again and failing and trying again...but He will never give up on us or run out of patience. He sees the benefit of what will become of it and just waits for us to catch on. And He knows how great we will be when we accomplish our goals.
I have learned so much and even seen myself have more patience (which says a lot when I am pregnant). I ususally tend to have high expectations and when they aren't accomplished right away, give up or get frustrated. But I have just thought to myself, that there is no rush....if we have to go somewhere, I put a pull up on you two and when we get back home we put back on underwear. It has worked well really, even to a point where Juliet saw me packing them for church and said, "I don't want to wear those!" So we are making progress. It is exciting and worth the effort. To think I may not have anyone in diapers before the baby comes is crazy!!!!! I have had someone in diapers for the last 13 years!!!!
Both of you are getting so big. You won't stay in your cribs...you climb out every morning and come into my room and turn on Daniel Tiger. As a matter of fact, today I put you down for a nap and even after spankings, I still found you crawled out of your cribs...on my bed with the door locked, watching Daniel Tiger or Peppa Pig.
You are both something else! So super smart and just so cute it is hard to see you grow up. I am trying to enjoy every second because when the new baby comes, you two will seem so big and so old..you won't be my babies anymore. :( It makes me sad. Time has gone by soo fast! We are hoping to get you twin beds in the next couple of weeks, that should be fun! :) You will love them! I hope you will stay in them!
I am grateful every day for the blessings of twins. You are so much fun to watch and the moments here and there when you have "twin" moments...melts my heart. Like squeezing in an chair together and reading or watching tv.
Juliet you are so motherly and love babies. Jace does too...but you are crazy about them. You "mother" Jace sometimes too. The other day He was doing something by the tv and we were telling him to stop...you went over there and said, "Jace! One, Two, three!" Then you spanked his bottom. We laughed...but seriously.... funny,
Jace we have had to put you in time out a few times because you love to hit...you can thank your brothers for that and Power Rangers. You sit in your chair, puff your lip, put your head down and pout. It is truly adorable. Even if you are in trouble.
You both got some new undies this week and loved them!! Juliet you even took your package in the car with you. It was so cute.
I am sure there are so many more things I wish I could remember to write down, but I look forward to a day when the veil on my mind is removed and it is perfected...because then I can remember every detail of each of of my children and the wonderful experience of being a mother.
I love you both dearly.

Time is flying
Time keep marching on, faster than a blink. I can't beleive how long it is has been since I wrote in here. :( The last day of school was around June 26th...and that was the first day you two both climbed out of your cribs for the first time! Yikes! Now you are quite the experts at it and come into our room in the wee hours of the morning and say "WAKE UP!" It was cute....but not so cute I am not purchasing black out curtains today in hopes of you sleeping later. Luckily we have only had one incident of you not staying in bed at night time....and none for nap time...so ....so far so good. I guess sometime soon it will be time for regular beds...but then that will really be a problem trying to keep you in. So we will see.
We went to the splash park yesterday to play...Juliet loved playing in the water, even by herself...but Jace wouldn't have anything to do with it. He just hovered around me. There were quite a few people there, so mabye that's why...we'll see next time we go.
Both of you are big talkers and have quite the personality. You also want to do everything yourself and it drives me nutso! But you are so big and I can't believe where the time has gone. Being pregnant this time I feel the same as with two but not so much pressure. I guess being #9 and after twins my body just does what it does and I look like I am due any day now..... evident to me and everyone else who asks when I am due and shocked when it is still a couple of months away. "Yes thankyou people for making me feel even larger!"
You are both super smart, can run iphones, ipads, the remotes, Roku...whatever you need. :) You love to watch Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and sing the song often. Jace, you love watching Power Rangers and get all Karate-ish when you watch..."hi-yahing" everything and showing us some serious moves. :)
Juliet you love babies and love patting my tummy and saying "baby." You will be so cute when there is a new baby here. Jace likes babies too, but not like Juliet....she points one out everywhere we go!
You two love to play outside, ride bikes, jump on the trampoline, and just do anything! You have been so much fun and great babies! Definitely tender mercies!

Keeping up
I find it so hard to keep up with everything these days, and when I think I am slacking on your journals, it makes me so sad. Not only are there 8 of you, we are expecting #9 in Septmember. I think you both will be such a great big brother and sister, I can't wait. You both love babies, esp. Juliet, so it will be fun. You are both still babies to me...and it makes me sad when a new one comes, that you will seem HUGE. That is how it always it. So I am trying to enjoy you too tunks right now while I can. You are both so cute and full of personality. You can talk so much and it melts my heart. Juliet, the other day in the car you heard me or dad (or both) say, "OH MY GOSH!" (because a car almost hit us). Since then, you say it all the time...with a little attitude. It is adorable. You are super duper smart and it amazes me. You love to play with hair still and want to do hair whenever you get a chance. You and Jace have a love/hate relationship. Mostly love, but everynow and then one of you purposfully bugs the other...:) When you giggle together or hold hands in the car, or just play together I can't savor the moment long enough or capture enough pictures with my heart. You both love your siblings so much. Jace, yesterday at church you and Ryder were just sitting and you kept saying, "HUG!" and kept squeezing him around the neck..it was adorable. He just kept giggling. You both love them and they adore you both so much. You both still suck on binkies like there is no tomorrow...we have to break that habit and potty train you before this next baby comes! :) I just can't believe how fast time has flown by. I am so sad to think how old you are. I love and enjoy every second, I always have...but it almost feels as if I didn't have twins. :( The older you get, the less it seems so. Maybe because you are boy/girl...I don't know.....but I am sad how fast time goes.
You both love to facetime Grandpa and Nana and "Annie" as Juliet calls "Auntie Angie." You have both opened up a bit more to people and don't give quite so many crusty looks to them before getting to know them real well. You love nursery and go right in. You love to play and you both love to say, "here is is" or "there it is." When you see church, home, or something you are looking for. I wish I could capture every moment and keep it. I guess that will be the great thing about the resurrection when are bodies are perfect, so will our memories be...and then I can look back at them and cheris them even more. I love you both so much. You are adorable and I want to cuddle you both way more than you will allow, but I will take whatever I can get.
PS your favorite movie these days is "BeoMax" (Big Hero 6) we watch it at least 1 or 2 x a day. There was a moment when Juliet couldnt get enough of the songs from Annie...although we don't have the movies, she played them on my phone whenever she could. She would say, "Hard Knock yife!" :) So cute. Also Juliet says "Bunny Yabbit" which I make her say whenever I can, because it is soooooo cute. You both love Mr. Peabody and Sherman also...and there is a part when Mr. Peabody talks aobut all he invtented and stops and dances....you two must get off the couch from watching and stand up and dance...just for that part....it is hilarious!
Cherishing every second!

Almost 2!!!
Well time has flown by. You ae both full blown toddlers and just crazy heads!
Juliet, you talk so much. You can say anything and easily say sentences. You are such a girly girl. You love babies and dolls and bears. You have taken one of Halle's build a bears (from a bday party) and claimed it as your own. A couple of days aga I took you to the dr. to see if you had pink eye (you didn't) but you wouldn't let go of that bear. You are so cute! You love your nails painted, love earrings and bows, even though half the time you won't leave them in. You love yogurt and cereal and sandwhiches oh and chips. :) You are both obsessed with blankies and want them all the time...mostly when you sleep or want to be held. And you are both getting picky about which ones lately! :) Juliet you love to sing also, and often sing a lovely rendition of I am a Child of God with ending verses of "Let it Go," from Frozen. You are always a hoot. Lately you are way into books and ask to be read to. :) You don't sit and listen, but you love them. :) That is a good start. You are super smart. So understand everything, can almost say anything and are just too cute for words.
Jace, you are a little tunk. You have the most adoring smile. You are obsessed with anything sports. any ball and you are like a dog distracted! You love ALL balls. And you have an arm like no other 1 year old I am certain of it! You can throw..and hard. You can't catch just yet, but you can throw and shoot and kick! You one time threw a diaper towards the door and it landed inside the wreath that is hanging. Since then you think it is a hoop and always try to throw balls up there. You have also shot balls onto the top of my standing lamps. :) It is funny. And of course makes me proud. :) I love it. You have been yelling at me lately, "MOM! Mom! MOM!" Especially when Kason is yelling it trying to get my attention, you chime in and yell louder. It is funny. No matter what the occasion. Today in church you were especially gibberish and loud. :) (while playing cars). You are such a fun boy and I love just how boyish you are.
Have a girly girl and a very strong boy has been so much fun! I have loved every second. You are both growing so fast, I can hardly believe you will be two. It is a new territory for me to not have another on the way already, but I still think of you two as my little babies. Over the last few months, you two have come out of your shell more. Auntie Angie came in October and neither one of you would have anything to do with her. She came for Christmas and you both loved her. She couldn't believe the change. :) I love you both to the moon and back! :)
