1 and counting....

Well it came and went. You had your 1st birthday. I can't believe time goes so fast. I look at you every day and think, how did you both get so big? :(

Your birthday was on 1st day of the Winter Olympics. So we had an Olympic themed party and invited friends over. It was fun. You both liked your cake and ate it too. :)

Juliet, you are getting so big and such a personality. You have been walking rather well for a couple of weeks now and each day it is better and better. You walk the majority of places you go now, it is so cute. Jace, you don't have much desire to walk, you walk along the couch and stuff, but you just really don't care. You love trucks and things that roll, and especially balls.

You both got cozy coupe cars for your birthday and when you aren't fighting the other kids for them you like to sit in them and play or watch tv. It is cute. Juliet, you can climb in and out all by yourself and it is funny. I just can't believe how big you both are. You eat pretty much all the same thing we eat and Juliet you get so mad sometimes when we give some to Jace. Because you don't have many teeth and he does, you usually swallow and he takes a bit to chew. You get feisty having to wait and sometimes swat the spoon when it comes your way...ooh that makes mama mad! And dad too.

Jace you are so relaxed and just watch it all happen. It is funny to see how different boys and girls are. I love you both so much it hurts. I love having twins and the time is just slipping by so fast.

It has been so fun and you are both so good and such good sleepers.....You are almost ready to go into big seats in the car...that will be a challenge and fun to see your face in the mirror though!

I love you both so much and just have been so blessed to have been given you! PS Jules, you still babble a lot and say mom and dad and now "bop." Could be stop, I don't know, we say it back and forth and smile. :) Jace you "ka" still and say mom and dad every now and then. You both adore signing time and swing your arms back and forth for "play" when you want to watch it. It is so cute! You get all excited when I mention it. So cute!!!

Stop growing!!!!!

You are almost one...I don't want to even talk about it. :( But oh so cute....Juliet, you are standing in one spot and taking a couple of steps...Jace, you can stand for a bit. It is so cute...I can't believe you are that old...ready to walk. Jules, you stand there and clap for yourself it is so adorable! You walk around the house by walking along the walls, the table, cabinets....you prefer to do that than crawl I guess. :) Mostly when you are in the kitchen. It is so cute. You both are preferring real food now and I don't know if it is because I don't want you to grow up so fast, but I am hesitant to give you bigger foods like people food...fishies, marshmallows, things I don't think you can eat yet, but maybe you can. At least Jace, he has like 10 teeth...Jules, you are still sporting only two. :( I guess they will grow in later. :) Both of you are developing the cutest little personalities. I love to lay on the floor and you flock to me and crawl all over me. You both give the best kisses and have the most adoring smiles. Jules you say dada, momma, and uh oh. Jace- you say dada and mama and ka! :) YOu love to splash in the bath....and still tease each other by taking each others' binkies, but now you have gotten to a spot where you give them back and smile. :) Such great babies. You sleep great, take great naps, go to bed great.....Juliet, you know when to tease...if you do something naughty you do it and look right at me and smile... such a stinker. :) I just love it. I can still get a cuddle in every now and then when you are both tired...and I love that. Juliet, it is funny to see the difference in boys and girls. You are such a little ninny sometimes. You throw fits for no good apparent reasons...and Jace must looks at you like..."what on earth?" It is so funny. Jace, you know where to go to get attention. You go straight for the phones and keyboards if we are on them. :) You also love balls. You love play with them and I have seen you play with Kason and Ryder when they are pushing cars around. You get in line with a car and follow them. It is so adorable! You giggle and them more than anyone...brotherly love. It is so cute. I just can't get enough of you twinsies! I wanted twins for so long and still after almost of year of having them....just love every second, even when you are chasing me around the kitchen crying and pulling on my leg at the same time. :) I just adore you and really am so sad the time is going by too fast. I love you both dearly!
